At the option of the bidder, sealed bids, in duplicate and/or bids submitted electronically via www.llgarchplans.com will be received by WILLIAM CAREY UNIVERSITY until 2:00 p.m. on April 18, 2024, at Tatum Court Administration Building Board Room on the second floor of William Carey University located at 710 William Carey Parkway, Hattiesburg, Mississippi 39401 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read for construction of the following project:
INSTITUTE OF PRIMARY CARE – PHASE 2
WILLIAM CAREY UNIVERSITY
A single bid will be received for the complete project.
Bids may be submitted in person or, for those interested, bids can be electronically submitted at www.llgarchplans.com under the project name. Bid documents are available online for viewing and purchase at www.llgarchplans.com. Purchased documents are non-refundable. Plan holders and bidders are required to log-in or register for a free account to view and order bid documents and to submit bids electronically. A valid email address is required for registration. Documents are available via paper copy or pdf. Any questions regarding website registration and online orders should be directed to plan house at (601) 336-6378.
The bid bond shall be payable unconditionally to the Owner. Bids on the project must be received on or before the period scheduled for the project and no bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the project, for a period of 60 days.
All bids submitted must comply with requirements of title 31, chapter 3 (§31-3-1 et seq.) of Mississippi code of 1972 as amended.
Award will be made based on the lowest and best bid received in accordance with title 31, chapter 7 (§31-7-13 et seq.) of Mississippi code of 1972 as amended. This project is funded through a Federal Grant and is subject 2 C.F.R. § 200, Appendix II (UNIFORM ADMINISTRATIVE REQUIREMENTS, COST PRINCIPLES, AND AUDIT REQUIREMENTS FOR FEDERAL AWARDS) and special conditions as outlined in the bid documents that include Davis-Bacon wage requirements. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
